Where did you grow up? Long Island, NY

Where have you lived? New York, Virginia, and Colorado

Which degrees do you hold and from where did you earn them? Christopher graduated in 2005 from Virginia Tech’s College of Architecture’s prestigious BArch program. Known for its consistent rank in the top 10 undergrad architecture programs by Design Intelligence.

What are some of the jobs you have held? Project Architect at a boutique firm in Hamptons, NY that focused primarily on resort style, modern, high-end single-family residences.

Design Architect for a large retail and residential building in the heart of the Village of Vail, CO called Solaris. His most notable contribution is the design of the Nobu Matsuhisa restaurant situated in the center of the complex.

Director of Interior Architecture to an award-winning Hamptons, NY based architecture firm where Christopher led a team of architects in the design of architectural interior fit, finishes, equipment and furnishings for high-end residential vacation homes.

Production Manager at a boutique interior design firm specializing in restaurants, catering and hospitality. There he oversaw project scheduling, resource management & budgeting, CAD standards and quality control.

Christopher was Sole Proprietor of his own Architectural practice in NY that specialized in residential single-family construction ranging from small additions to ground up new construction.

What is your favorite design style? Although Christopher appreciates all well-designed buildings, he gravitates towards a modern building form with thoughtful implementation of traditional materials.

What is the one thing you have done that would surprise most people? Mountain biked 142 miles in 3 days from Furita, CO to Moab, UT on the Kokopelli trail

Where are some places you’ve visited? Chris has had the opportunity to study architecture thru an extensive 3 month travel program through England, France, Italy, and Switzerland. He has also had the opportunities to travel for leisure and surf trips to beautiful locations such as Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii. Chris and his family take any opportunities to visit the splendors of many of our National Park systems.

What are you most thankful for? My beautiful wife and two boys.

How do you spend your free time? Chris has been an avid surfer since he was a teenager.

Night owl or early bird? Naturally a night owl but Chris tries to be an early bird for the family, work and surfing.

What is your favorite museum? MOMA NYC

Favorite pet? My dog Gidget who you might find occasionally sleeping under my desk at CDA.
