Domeny Anderson

Architectural Designer

Domeny completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design at Mount Ida College in 2015, earning multiple Interior Design student awards as well as placement on the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society. After graduation she went on to work in different areas of design, including as an exhibit designer for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. She began her architectural design career here in Rhode Island, working on multiple projects from schematic design through construction. Domeny joined the CDA team in 2021.

Where were you born and raised? Newport, RI

Do you have any brothers or sisters? One older sister 

Which degrees do you hold and where did you earn them? Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Mount Ida College 

Do you have a hidden talent? If so, what is it? Whistling 

Where in the world would you like to explore? Spain 

How do you spend your free time? Reading, going to spin, and hanging out with friends 

Favorite place and why? I loved visiting Paris. I loved all of the beautiful architecture and the history in the city. 

What is your favorite food? Cheese 

What is your favorite meal? Breakfast 

What is your favorite season? Fall

What is your favorite weather? Sunny and 70

If you could have any superpower what would it be? Freeze time
